Angel investors take lots of meetings. Why not make them a little less transactional? Mercury and 43 partnered to build a tea room based on the Chinese tea tradition.
With table and floor seating, the tea room lets you do meetings comfortably and quietly.
The tea room has two skylights which allows for plants along three of the four walls.
The Mercury Tea room was designed and built by Jonathan Steele at Steele Tea Studios. Jonathan is a rare combination of tea master, carpenter and ceramicist.
Jonathan hand shaped each piece of ceramic serving ware and fired them in a wood burning anagama kiln in Oregon.
The Mercury Tea Room has seven teas all from the region of China were tea originates from. Fun fact: one tea was dried under the full moon as part of its preparation.
